ESPANOLA - On Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at approximately 1 a.m., officers from the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a mischief near a residence on Queensway Avenue, in the Town of Espanola, Ont.

Officers attended and located an object smouldering near the residence. The residence was not damaged. The investigation is continuing with the assistance of a Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO), and the Manitoulin OPP Crime Unit. 

Any person with information regarding the person(s) responsible for this incident should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.
