On June 29, 2018, at approximately 6:37 p.m., members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an assault call at a townhouse complex on Spruce Avenue in the City of Elliot Lake, Ont.
The male complainant had reported being assaulted by another male while lock work was being done on a door. A verbal argument initially ensued between the two parties, then one male pushed the complainant.
Charles Head, 55 years of age, of Elliot Lake, Ont., was charged with:
- Assault, contrary to section 266 of the Criminal Code (CC).
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake, Ont. on Aug. 7, 2018.
