Elliot Lake man accused of shooting at buildings with pellet gun

On March 27, 2020 at approximately 12:30 p.m., members from the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a weapons call on Capital Place in Elliot Lake.

The complainants reported a person with a pistol pellet gun walking through the condominium complex shooting at buildings. Luckily there were no injuries.

Police immediately attended and arrested the shooter.

[Charges withdrawn], 32 years of age of Elliot Lake was charged with:
    •    Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, contrary to section 88 of the Criminal Code (CC).

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on June 2, 2020.
