ESPANOLA - On Feb. 22, 2020 at approximately 6:55 a.m., members of the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic dispute in Espanola, Ont.

As a result of the investigation, a 35-year-old from Espanola, Ont. has been charged with:
    •    Obstruct peace officer - contrary to section129(a) of the Criminal Code (CC); and
    •    Mischief - obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property - contrary to section 430(1)(c) of the CC.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola, Ont.
