On March 20, 2023, shortly after 9 a.m., members from the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to complaint where an individual was breaching conditions on Hanes Avenue in the Town of Blind River.
Police attended and spoke to the complainant and deemed the suspect was in fact breaching conditions was subsequently arrested a short time later.
As a result, [charges withdrawn] from Blind River, was charged with:
• Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court (two counts)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Blind River on May 11, 2023.
