Bearskin rugs stolen from Blind River business

Cash and a tan coloured duffel bag were also stolen in the recent break-in

BLIND RIVER - On Nov. 11, 2019, members of the East Algoma Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter at a local business on Hawkins Street in the Town of Blind River.

The investigation has since revealed that sometime during the evening of Nov. 10 and into the morning of Nov. 11, 2019, entry was gained into the business. A number of items were taken including the following;
  • Bearskin rug with head attached
  • Bearskin rug - with no head
  • Tan coloured duffel bag
  • A quantity of Canadian currency

The investigation is continuing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Ontario Provincial Police is 1-888-310-1122.
