WARNOCK, Nina (nee Stevenson)

April 7, 1938 – September 27, 2019

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Nina while at SAH, at the age of 81. She was the loving wife of the late David Warnock. Cherished mother of Colleen and the late Carolin. Grandmother of Kyle (Kristean), Kelsey and Joey. A great grandmother of 3. Sister of Joan Foster (Marvin), the late Jim Stevenson (Judy), Jean Gusman and John Stevenson (Carol). Sister in law of Ivan Warnock (Jean). Aunt and great aunt to many.

If desired the family appreciates donations to the Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Per Nina’s wishes there will be no services.

God Saw You Getting Tired

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you 
And whispered "Come to me."

With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.

Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
