October 9, 1932 – September 25, 2022
Passed away peacefully at NSHN-Blind River, just shy of her 90th birthday. She will join her beloved husband Roy (2009). She’ll be greatly missed by her 4 children, Roxann, Randy (Celeste), Rhonda Gregoris (Danny) and Rene Cappelli (Ken Sword), her 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and her sister Shirley Quick. Predeceased by her parents Elsie and Fred Schmenk and brother Ernie. Will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Joyce loved fishing the Mississagi River with Roy. She was a member of the Iron Bridge Lioness and Iron Bridge Arena Board. She was selfless in her devotion to her children and grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time. A celebration of the lives of Joyce and Roy will be held at a later date.
