SMITH, Shirley Ann (McArthur)

On December 15, 2017, at the age of 68, a mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. Mother of Barbara Smith (Brian Sikes).Grandmother of Robbie Sikes, Shawna Burrows Marshall (Jesse Marrello) and Justin Marshall. Great grandmother of Chloe and Jessa-Lyn. Survived by the father of her daughter Dennis Smith. She will be fondly remembered by her Father Ambrose McArthur (late Frances) and sisters Linda Zayet (Harold) and Barbara McArthur. Also, thank you to her many friends that kept in contact. A special thank you to March of Dimes and Elliot Lake Retirement Living who were there to care for Mom. At Shirley’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration will be held in the spring on Manitoulin Island.  With deep sadness with the loss of Rascal on December 20, 2017 he will be placed with Shirley at the time of the family celebration. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel & Cremation Centre (36 Ontario Ave).
