 It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family announce the passing of Laura Rush on September 27, 2019 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Elliot Lake, ON . Pre-deceased by her loving husband Allan in 2004, she is survived by her children Cheryl Sharratt (late Brian) of Elliot Lake, Donna Fournier of Elliot Lake and Duane Rush (Sharon) of Elliot Lake. Dear grandmother of Sarah Sharratt (Sylvie Plamondon), Erik Sharratt (Melanie), Matthew Rush (Ginger Gibson) and Heather Rush (James McGurk), Tina Scott, Dana Walton (Brad) and great grandmother of Tristan Plamondon, Molly, Fergus and Penny Sharratt, Meagan and Paul Goulet, Mason Walton. Dear sister of the late David Gardiner and sister in law of Lily Gardiner, Lloyd Rush (Ila) and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will received friends at the First Baptist Church, Elliot Lake on Monday September 29, 2019 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at a later date in Woodlands Cemetery, Elliot Lake. Memorial contributions to the Samaritan’s Purse Canada, Operation Shoebox www.samaritanspurse.ca would be appreciated by the family.
