(September 16, 1926 – March 19, 2019) - With great sadness we announce the passing of James Patterson while at NSHN, Thessalon at the age of 92. Loving husband of Isabell of Thessalon. Father to Lisa Sawatsky (Lyndon), Vernia Kunze (Michael), Elizabeth Bouchard (Hal), Judy Bizier (Andre), Tena Steele (Gord), Elgin Steele (Melanie), Gerald, Douglas (Heather), Debbie, and Barbara McGraw and Judi Bold. Will be missed by grand, great grand and great great grandchildren as well as his brother Victor Garbutt (Chris). Predeceased by sons Dennis Caron, Raymond McGraw and Joseph Steele.
He was a veteran of the Korean War and served his country proudly. He enjoyed dancing, throwing horseshoes, watching his beloved Blue Jays and playing the spoons.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Mueller and the entire staff at NSHN Thessalon for their compassion, kindness and care.
