McLEAN, Gwen

May 21, 1925 – February 8, 2019

Peacefully surrounded by her family, Gwen aged 93 has joined her late husband Alan and late daughter Susan.

Cherished mother of David (Carol), John (the late Lyn), Keith, Judy Laframboise (Ron Coventry), Amy Doussept (Robbie) and Jamie (Shelley). Treasured Grandmother of Matthew (Kayla), Pam, Meagan Saunders (Dwight), Natalie Tremblay (Eric), Daniel Doussept (Angelica), Jeremy Laframboise (Anna), Alyssa MacMillan (Craig) and Jackson. Loving Great Grandmother of 13. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Amy Bladwin, sister Vera Horne and in laws Jim and Jean McLean. Will be missed by sisters in law Nancy Collins (Jim) and Mary Allen (the late Harvey), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and paramedics at North Shore Health Network in Blind River. A special thank you to her PSWs, “her girls”.

A  memorial service will be held at St. Andrews United Church in Blind River on Thursday, February 14, 2019 beginning at 1pm. Reverend Lyn Heely officiating. Light luncheon to follow. Cremation has taken place.
