With great sadness we announce the passing of Janice MacLean (Wabigwan). Partner of James Wabigwan of Thessalon First Nation, mother of Alexandre, Ian and Katherine, daughter of Keith and the late Rollande MacLean of Laird Township, sister of Leslie Galka (Stanley) of Echo Bay and aunt of Aaron and Neil. Janice spent many great times with James, his sisters, his brothers, his sons and daughters, the many grandchildren and the rest of her friends in the community.
Janice enjoyed swimming, her E bike, kayaking, and traveling the Pow Wow trail and the back roads of her community.
A private celebration of Janice’s life will be held at a later date.
