November 6, 1940 – June 5, 2020
It it with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Arleen Lucienne MacDonald on June 5th, 2020 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Neil. Loving mother to Lee (Shawn), Karyn (Mark) and John. “Nanny” to her grandchildren Stephanie (Jason) and Tyler and a special “Big Mommy” to her great-grandchildren Taylor and Jordan.
Pre-deceased by her parents Suard & Eglantine Miller and her brothers Walter “Joe” and Donald (Noella). She will be fondly remembered by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Arleen enjoyed most spending time with loved ones at family gettogethers. She was kind, warm and generous and instilled those values in her family. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to thank the staff of the St-Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake for their compassion and care. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the St-Joseph's Foundation of Elliot Lake are gratefully accepted. As per Arleen's wishes there will be no service.
