It is with great sadness the family of Geraldine Kirby (nee Mosher) announces her passing at the Algoma Manor, in Thessalon, on Sunday the 1st of March 2020 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of the late Leonard Kirby.  Geraldine is survived by her brother Cameron Mosher (Gwendolyn) and lovingly remembered by her children Dennis (Debbie), Curtis (Debbie), Marilu (James) and Thomas (Rhonda).  Cherished grandmother of Nickolas (Anita), Christopher (Leah), Matthew (Marcia), Andrew (Brittany), Kaleb (Andrea), Ethan (Nicole), Wade, Samantha (Kurt), Angel, Owen, Kirby (Craig), T. J. (Cassandra) and Aryn (Neil) and Great-Grandmother of 23.  Predeceased by her sisters Marian MacGlashan (late Albert), Ida Jondreau (later Sylvester), her granddaughter Billie and her great-grandson Korbin. Geraldine will always be remembered for her love of family and her steadfast faith.  Friends are invited to visit with the family at Beggs Funeral Home in Thessalon on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm.  Funeral service to be held at the Iron Bridge United Church on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11am with Marilyn Billings officiating.  Light lunch to follow in the church hall. Spring internment to be announced at later date.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Iron Bridge United Church or a charity of your choice are greatly appreciated by the family.  The family wishes to thank the staff at the Algoma Manor, the Thessalon Hospital and the Sault Area Hospital for all their care and compassion as well as her Huron Street neighbours for their support and friendship.
