Passed peacefully with family by her side at the Blind River Hospital on February 11, 2018 in her 95th year. Loving mother to her children George (Joyce), Evelyn Reeve (Fred), Stan (Shirley) and Sandra Mieczaniec (the late Peter). Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey, Michael, Jennifer (Rob), LeeAnn (Dave), Rick (Angela), Terry Lyn (Mark), Landon (Carrie), Valerie (Sam) and Graeme. Will be missed by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and her church family.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Matheson for his many years of excellent care and also the doctors and nursing staff of the acute care at the Blind River Hospital. In lieu of flowers the family appreciates donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
A visitation will be held at the Menard Funeral Home in Blind River 705-356-7151 on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 7pm to 9pm. A service will take place at the Spragge Bible Church corner of Hwy 17 and Hwy 108 on Thursday, February, 15, 2018 at 11am with a light luncheon to follow.
