September 9, 1924 – June 26, 2020

Passed away peacefully at Algoma Manor with family by her side on Friday, June 26, 2020 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Raymond Goodall. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her children Raymond (Rhoda), Gary (Marilyn) and Debbie Mick (Ken). Loving Nan to Lisa Ritchie (Dave), Peter Goodall (Nancy), Melanie Mick (Jody Mageran), Ryan Mick (Carmen), Adam Mick (Elinor), Lucas Goodall, Sarah Bailey (Scott), and the late Erin Goodall. Mary Jane was a very special Great Nan to her great grandchildren Seth and Thomas Ritchie, Deizel Goodall, Sydney and Taylor Mick, Jack and Beau Mick and Eva, River and Mabel Bailey. Predeceased by her loving parents Pete and Eva Tremblay as well as her siblings Baptiste, Yvonne, Ann, Harry and Jacqueline. Mary Jane will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Mary Jane loved the community of Thessalon. She volunteered much of her time to CNIB, Thessalon Hospital Auxiliary and the Curling Club. She was available when and wherever needed. She belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 182 and 211 for just over 70 years. She was also a member of the CWL, St. Ambrose Catholic Church for 60 years.

Her greatest joy, after her grandkids, was shopping and traveling. Her biggest trip was travelling to the Vatican to see the Pope.

The family wishes to express their thanks for the loving and compassionate care the Algoma Manor staff showed our Mom for the year she was a resident, up until her final days.

If desired the family appreciates donations to NSHN-Auxiliary Thessalon Site or to the Algoma Manor.

A private graveside service and burial will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home.
