It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Leo; great father, husband, grandfather, son, brother and friend. Husband of Claudette, father of Steven, Keeven and Jennifer. Grandfather of Adam, Broden and Kadrick. Son of Barbara and the late Henry. Brother of April. Will be missed by numerous extended family members as well as countless friends and acquaintances.
Leo served as a role model and mentor to his children and grandchildren. He was understanding and never judged. He always knew what you needed to hear and was a shoulder to lean on in times of need. He had a heart of gold and would drop anything to help others. Leo could mend anything from a broken fence to a broken heart. He had many wonderful attributes which made him a great father, husband, son, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an amazing family man. We will miss his endless wit and snappy comebacks. With his passing the fish might now stand a fighting chance. He will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed.
The family wishes to thank their friends and family for their continued support, kindness and compassion. They’d also like to thank the various medical communities that provided continuous assistance and excellent care.
If desired, the family greatly appreciates donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society.
