FRENCH-BLONDEAU, Barbara (nee Richards)
May 31, 1945 – January 23, 2023
Passed away peacefully at NSHN-Blind River with family by her side. She has reunited with her late husband, Henry French (2003) and late son, Leo (2019) (Claudette). Barbara is the loving and nurturing mother of April Robins (Darrin). Beloved wife of Don Blondeau. Treasured grandmother of Zachery (Heather), Steven, Keeven (Kristen), Jennifer and great grandmother of Adam, Broden, Kadrick, Alora, Noah and Faith. Lovingly remembered by Don’s children, Don (Mary), Rick (Adrienne) and Vicky Vincent (Craig). Sister of Jim, Brenda, Neil and Karen. Predeceased by her parents Ivan and Margaret Richards and siblings Diane, Jack, Bob, Peggy, Ken, Mary and Ivan. Forever missed by her furbaby Bandit.
The most important thing for Barb was her faith and family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her family and enjoyed every minute. She loved camping, cooking, crafting, the outdoors and riding motorcycles. Barb lived a full and rich life. She poured her heart and soul into everything she did doing the things she loved with the people she loved most. We will forever miss her infectious smile and quick wit.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Barb’s life at St. James the Greater Parish, 44 Lakeside Avenue, Blind River on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, beginning at 11am with Father Ignatius Xavier officiating. Light luncheon to follow in the church basement.
