July 7, 1930 – February 23, 2019
After a short illness, passed peacefully with family by his side at North Shore Health Centre in Blind River, at age 88. Predeceased by his wife Marlene Fournier (nee Robinson). Forever remembered by nieces Lori Haldane, Christine Smith, Koryn McNabb and Emma Schillabeer, as well as sisters in law Donna Netzke and Bette Schillabeer. Beloved great uncle to Carley and Nathan Haldane and Tanner, Kade and Toryn McNabb and Cole Smith.
Henry enjoyed wood carving and leather tooling. He was a gentle and caring man whose purpose in life was to rehabilitate sick and injured animals. He spent many years rescuing small animals and nursing them back to health. Henry was Lori Haldane’s guardian angel and he will be greatly missed.
Lori would like to thank the staff at North Shore Health Network in Blind River for their great care. She also wants to thank Connie Jacques for the incredible care and compassion shown to Henry and herself during these difficult times.
