Passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her home at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Fawzi (2001). Loving Mother to Sandra (Marc) Italiano, Laila (Andrew) Stephenson, and Maureen Farkouh. Cherished Teta to Aidan, Kate, Sophia and Allison. Dear sister to Sue, Alex, Lillian and Lina. She will also be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service for Betty was held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 as well as a visitation at the Elliot Lake Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 36 Ontario Ave., Elliot Lake, Ontario, on Sunday November 26, 2017 from 12-2 pm. Interment will take place in the spring of 2018 in Elliot Lake. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
