It is with great sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Diane (70) after a short battle with pancreatic cancer, Tuesday, March 31. She passed away with her husband and loving daughter at her side. Beloved wife and best friend of Michael (after 44 years she still lovingly called him My Loving 'O'), loving mother of Christine (Blayne), Gerry (Tina), and Greg. Cherished grandmother of Kassandra, Brandon, Crystal and Alicia (pre deceased). Caring sister of Gisele (Ralf), Roger (Sandy), Lorraine, Frank (Cathy), Margaret and Annette. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and very loving friends.
Diane loved people, she was our social butterfly and she always had a kind word for everyone she'd meet. Loved to knit (baby sets, touques, scarfs and just about anything). If this kind ladt met you and you had a baby, she'd knit something for the small one. She'd never sell any knitting, she'd always give it away expecting nothing in return. That's how big her heart was. God has a new angel now that she no longer graces us with her kindness here on earth. In accordance to Diane's wishes, no service. Cremation has aleady taken place.
