The family is saddened to announce the passing of Bob, age 85, on October 12, 2018 at NSHN, Blind River. He leaves his beloved wife of 65 years Amelia. He also leaves his dear son Brian (Annette), cherished daughter Sherri (Rick) and adored daughter in law Kelly. He was predeceased by his eldest son Robert. He’ll be forever missed by grandchildren Craig, Melissa (Nishin), Shaun (Laura), Krista (Joel), Nathan, and great grandchildren Hannah, Cameron, Gethin, Marley, Maci, Ronan, Rex and Jacob.
Bob was an avid hunter who spent most of his free time in the bush waiting for the leaves to fall. When he wasn’t hunting he was monitoring ice conditions in anticipation of opening season for both spring and winter fishing. He enjoyed the outdoors, his friends and spending time with his family.
The family thanks the nurses in acute care at NSHN Blind River for their attention and care.
Cremation has taken place. As per Bob’s wishes there will be no services at this time.
