Will be missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Family meant everything to Eileen. She made sure they understood the importance of family togetherness. She taught the values through family gatherings, her love of fishing, hunting, camping, playing cards and participating in her grandchildren’s baseball, hockey and speed skating. She was an avid player, spectator and supporter of the Belisle Family Ladies’ Baseball Team and she will be dearly missed on August long weekend. She kept a large garden and spent years canning her home-grown vegetables for her family and friends. She always made sure her family was well cared for. We will forever miss her feisty and independent nature…she was the glue that held us all together. She was simply amazing.

The family would like to extend our utmost gratitude to all the staff at NSHN-Thessalon and Blind River sites and Golden Birches Terrace. A special thank you to the staff at the Thessalon site for their exceptional care throughout the years, treating her as family and showing her endless love and compassion.
At the request of Eileen, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery.
