Denzil passed at the Blind River Hospital after a short illness, aged 83. Survived by his sons Bill and Jeff (Cheryl). Grandfather of Lacey, Chantel, Tiffany and Reid. Great grandfather of 6.
Denzil had a heart of gold underneath his rough exterior. He was always willing to help when folks needed it. He spent his whole working career in the bush, logging and operating heavy equipment. He and his son Jeff have worked together for the last 35 years. Denzil semi-retired at age 80 but continued to help out when he could.
The family wishes to thank the staff at NSHN-Blind River for their compassionate care.
Per Denzil’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services.
