Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-sign offensive lineman Tony Washington to new deal

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-signed American offensive lineman Tony Washington on Monday.

Washington, 31, split last season between the Edmonton Eskimos and Hamilton. The six-foot-seven, 318-pound New Orleans native started 12 games with the Ticats, seeing action at both tackle positions.

Washington has appeared in 87 career CFL regular-season games over seven years with the Calgary Stampeders (2011), Toronto Argonauts (2012-13), Edmonton (2014-17) and Hamilton (2017). Washington is also a two-time Grey Cup Champion (2012, 2015).
