Aaron Sanchez leads Toronto Blue Jays past Baltimore Orioles 4-0

DUNEDIN, Fla. — Aaron Sanchez threw six scoreless innings, striking out three and only giving up one hit to lead the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-0 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Friday in spring training action.

Justin Smoak had a solo home run and went 3 for 3 to lead Toronto's (12-13) offence. Brandon Drury had a two-run homer.

Tim Mayza, Joe Biagini, Justin Shafer and Ken Giles came out of the Blue Jays' bullpen for three innings of scoreless relief.

Mike Wright allowed two runs in four innings as Baltimore's (12-14) starter. John Means gave up two more runs in two innings of relief, before Tanner Scott and Pedro Araujo each pitched an inning.
