Bus service in Elliot Lake has been cancelled today due to heavy snowfall.
City CAO Daniel Gagnon posted a news release regarding the cancellation this morning, saying service is expected to resume on Thursday (Nov. 28).
“The severity of the winter storm event means buses cannot operate safely,” he said in the statement.
“Municipal pool programs will be cancelled as of 1 p.m. today,” he added.
The storm is expected to dump up to 25 cm of snow on the city.
