People living in an Elliot Lake residential neighborhood got a heads up on the City's new website Thursday afternoon about a watermain break.

The break is at Dieppe and Stevens.

The city's web based advisory reads, "Please be advised if you are experiencing brown water in the area of Dieppe and Stevens, it is due to a water main break.  Run your cold water tap until the water clears. Some homes will be without water due to the repairs but will be restored when the work is complete. We apologize for any inconvenience."

There's no word yet on when repairs will be completed.
