Elliot Lake is holding a Hazardous Waste Day today.
Residents can drop off any household hazardous waste at the City Works yard on Timber Road in the northern industrial park until 7 p.m.
Items accepted include paint, batteries and gas. A complete list of accepted items can be found on the city's website.
Long wait times can be expected.
