The Lions Club of Elliot Lake is participating in decorating the Smile Cookies for Tim Horton's again this year.
The event is taking place all this week from Sept. 13 - 18 at a cost of $1 per cookie.
Proceeds from the cookie sales are used by the Lions Club to purchase Christmas gifts in conjunction with the money raised from the MCTV/Lion Children's Christmas Telethon.
Elliot Lake OPP Constable Phil community safety officer assisted local Lions Club members with decorating the cookies. Also helping out were Club President Roger Collett and First Vice President Russell Foy and Constable Phil Young and Lions Members Linda Collett and Leo Deveu.
