The ever-popular Teddy Bear Picnic is on again at the Timber Village Museum and gallery.

The event has been cancelled in recent years during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The picnic is set for Thursday, July 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Blind River Marine Park.

“We can bearly wait to see you there," says the museum's Facebook post about the event.

The event is geared toward children 2 to 8 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but everyone is welcome.

Pack a lunch, your favourite teddy bear and picnic blanket to take part.

There will be face painting, yoga, stories, crafts, music and more brought to you by the museum's community partners.

For teddy bears needing mending, there will also be a bear hospital.

Hot dogs, ice cream and other refreshments will also be available for a small fee.

Participants are asked to register for the event when they arrive.
