Special weather statement in effect for:
- Elliot Lake - Ranger Lake
- Chapleau - Missinaibi Lake
Snow squalls off of Lake Superior will bring local amounts near 10 cm today.
The most intense activity is expected between Wawa and Sault Ste. Marie where snow squall watches and warnings are in effect. However, areas between Wawa and Marathon will likely be affected to some degree as well.
In addition, areas well inland from Lake Superior including Highways 129, 556 and Ranger Lake will be affected.
Conditions should improve this evening as the snow squalls shift southward.
