Winter Weather Travel Advisory in effect for this evening.
The snow squall bands off Lake Superior have weakened, however intermittent flurries will continue today.
An intense band of snow associated with the passage of a cold front will bring a brief period of reduced visibilities early this evening. Localized accumulation of up to 5 cm is possible with this event.
Hazardous traveling conditions can be expected along portions of Highway 17 and Highway 129. Motorists are advised to watch for quickly changing weather conditions and adjust their driving accordingly.
