Joanna Moggy, along with Elliot Lake resident John Maskevich, organized an Oktoberfest event in mid-October. She said the event resulted in a $1,000 donation to the city’s St. Joseph’s General Hospital $1.5 million CT scanner fundraiser.
Moggy said the event was well attended and a donation made to the hospital committee charged with the fundraiser was made recently.
The event was held at the Moose Hall (26 Oakland Blvd.) on Oct. 13 and featured food, refreshments, music and games
