More COVID vaccine clinics booked for Collins Hall

People 65 and up, as well as others, can now book appointments

Elliot Lake Family Health Team, with the support of Algoma Public Health, is booking appointments for another six clinics to be held in the month of April.

Vaccinations will be by appointment only and no walk-ins will receive a vaccine, says Algoma Public Health.

The clinics are scheduled for the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, April 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Added to the list of people who are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination are adults who are 65 and older. They can book for a clinic on April 24 and onward.

People who are 60 and older will be able to book an appointment for a clinic on May 8 or later and education workers who provide direct daily support to students with special education needs are also eligible to book an appointment for a vaccine at any of the upcoming clinics.
