Several Elliot Lake artists are joining forces to sell some of their works.

Several of the artists displaced from their studios at the condemned Elliot Lake Lester B. Pearson Civic Centre will be selling their wares at the art sale. The city closed the civic centre after the Feb. 21 collapse of a portion of the civic centre roof.

City insurance companies are currently assessing the extent of the damage to the building due to heavy snow load.

The sale will feature various pieces for sale by the artists, including pottery and wood pieces in this unique sale. It will also include multi-family items and planters.

The sale is being held at 64 Pearson and will start at 8 a.m. sharp on June 8, a news release from the artist group stated.

"No early birds, please," artist Phil Barber said.
