Motorcyclists in Elliot Lake will hop into the saddle on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018 to help their furry friends at the Society for Animals in Distress shelter on Perini Road.

They're taking part in the second annual Mut Run which will roll out from George's Restaurant off Highway 108. Registration is at 11 a.m. and the poker run gets under way at noon sharp, roughly 200 kilometres in total.

After returning, you will be dealt a hand of cards and the winner takes 50 per cent of the registration pot. After the run, they'll be holding four bike games including a slow race, keg push, weenie bite and tennis balls on a pylon game.

Bike games are $10 each and there are several hundred dollars in prizes. There will also be a 50/50 draw. All proceeds go to Elliot Lake SAD.
