Friday evening Ontario PC Party President Rick Dykstra announced the vote.

“Earlier today, the Ontario PC Party Executive voted to launch a leadership process where party membership will have the opportunity to select the leader who will lead the party into the next election.

Details about the leadership process will be announced in the near future.

“Our Party is already full of 200,000 energized party members," added Dykstra."This number will only continue to grow. We look forward to uniting behind the future Leader of the party. Together as a team we will defeat Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals in the upcoming election.”
