As the weekend forecast calls for area daytime highs to remain in the upper 20s throughout the weekend, the City of Elliot Lake has designated the Public Library (45 Hillside Dr. S.) as a cooling centre until June 3.
Library hours are:
- Monday to Friday - 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday - closed
Members of the public are reminded that food and drinks are prohibited, however, there are water fountains on-site.
There is a transit stop located at the Public Library.
