Christmas concert draws packed house

Over 250 people attended Joy of Christmas concert held at Collins Hall Sunday afternoon, celebrating Christian values and the true meaning of Christmas

More than 250 people attended a special concert celebrating Christian values and the true meaning of Christmas held at Collins Hall Sunday afternoon. It was possibly the largest crowd attending an event in the post-pandemic era.

It was the first Joy of Christmas concert hosted by the Footprints Christian Store and the Knitting Room, and according to owner Pat Henderson, it will be the first of annual seasonal concerts in Elliot Lake.

The concert featured Christmas songs and the Christmas story from a wide range of local talent, including Jim Graham, Perry Tucker, Brian Gowan, Sylvia Van Belle, Dayeton Larson, Howard Riddell, the Men of Song and the Jewels choir, to the delight of those attending.
