Ever wonder what that little white building by the Trading Post and Fireside Plaza is?
Well, here's your answer.
It's the Elliot Lake Children's Christmas Store. And every year, it opens its doors to let children come in and purchase items for their families. This store is completely run by volunteers.
Children are able to enjoy a stress-free environment, and with the help of these volunteers, are able to look through toys for their families. With support from the Elliot Lake business community, all items in the store are under $20.
The store will open its doors for this holiday season on Nov. 24.
Store hours are as follows:
- Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m
- Saturdays from 10 a.m to 3 p.m
- Dec. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m
- Dec. 22 from 1 to 7 p.m
- Dec. 23 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m
