Canada’s nuclear regulator is coming to Elliot Lake for an open house on Oct. 16 from 11 a.m until 3:30 p.m as well as from 5 to 8 p.m.
The open house will be at the White Mountain Building Atrium at 99 Spine Rd.
During the open house, staff will be available to provide information and answer questions about how they regulate the nuclear sector, licensing process and how the public can participate, how they work internationally, how they conduct safety checks, inspect and take samples to ensure communities and the environment remain safe.
