Events on Friday and Saturday for the 50th annual Blind River Winter Carnival went off without a hitch.
There was plenty to do including curling lessons and games, hockey, a hearty pancake breakfast at the Legion, sliding, snow sculptures, cupcake decorating, sleigh rides, a colouring contest at the library and ice fishing on the river.
