A lot of rain fell. And it keeps falling

Another 10 to 15 mm of rain is expected tonight in much of northeastern Ontario bringing totals to as much as 50 mm by Tuesday morning


A low pressure system brought significant rain to the Bruce Peninsula and portions of northeastern Ontario beginning Sunday evening.

The following summary of rainfall amounts in millimetres received by Environment Canada as of 8 p.m. EDT today.

The rain is continuing in some areas this evening and these totals may increase as a result.

Sault Ste. Marie -- 43.0 
North Bay -- 41.9 
Tobermory RCS -- 35.4 
Moosonee -- 30.7
