$1 million Lotto 6/49 ticket sold in Sudbury

The winning ticket for the Lotto 6/49 guaranteed $1 million prize draw was sold in the Sudbury area. 

The draw took place on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Lotto 6/49 includes a guaranteed $1 million prize draw along with each and every draw, offering players 104 more chances to become a millionaire each year.

“Somebody’s going to win the guaranteed $1 million prize each and every draw, and this time the winning ticket was sold in the Sudbury area,” said Randy Weyersberg, OLG vice-president of marketing and planning, in a press release.

There were other nice wins across the province. A second prize winning ticket, worth $105,957.10, was sold in Toronto. Two Encore tickets, worth $100,000 each, were sold in the Barrie area and Toronto.

Since its launch in June 1982, Ontario Lotto 6/49 players have won over $12.3 billion, including 1,358 jackpot wins and 250 guaranteed $1 million prize draws. For more information, please visit OLG.ca and click on Lotteries.

The next Lotto 6/49 draw is a Super Draw. On Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018 Lotto 6/49 will offer an estimated $5 million jackpot, the guaranteed $1 million prize draw and an additional 100 guaranteed prize draws of $10,000.

Players have until 10:30 p.m. to purchase their tickets.
