Two new cases of COVID-19 reported by Public Health Sudbury and Districts

Active cases drops to 24 as four more cases were declared resolved on Sunday

Public Health Sudbury and Districts is reporting two new case of COVID-19 for Feb. 21.

The cases are both in the Greater Sudbury area and both have been linked to close contact with a confirmed case.

The total number of active cases in the area  again saw a decrease on Sunday, dropping from 26 to 24 as four more cases were declared resolved on Feb. 21. 

In total, there have been 587 confirmed cases since March.

Provincially there were 1,087 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. The Feb. 21 report from Public Health Ontario included 13 new deaths, four were residents at long-term care homes.
