Two cases have been confirmed at St. Charles College on Jan. 25.

The school remains open at this time as it has not been declared an outbreak by Public Health Sudbury & Districts.

In accordance with provincial guidance, an outbreak in a school setting is declared when two or more laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 are linked and occur within 14 days of each other.

According to the Sudbury Catholic District School Board website, the following classes at St. Charles College have been dismissed:

  • Grade 7/8 French Immersion
  • Grade 11 Chemistry Class (SCH3U)
