Chief Librarian Pat McGurk said, "When you arrive at the library you can call the circulation desk or ring the buzzer at the main door. You will be required to return to a designated spot to wait – 2 metres from the entrance."

"A staff member will have material ready in a plastic bag which will be placed on a table outside the main entrance. Once the staff member has returned inside you can pick up your bag of material.

She concluded, "All material must be returned into the dropbox outside the library in the Pearson Plaza on Hillside South."

McGurk said returned material will be quarantined for 72 hours before being put back into circulation.
