Sudbury Catholic District School Board said classes will resume today at two of its schools where COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared.

Classes resume at both Marymount Academy and Pius XII Catholic Elementary School today after they were suspended earlier this week due to the impacts of the virus.

Students and staff affected by COVID-19 exposure will continue to self-isolate, said a letter from Pius XII to parents posted on the board's website.

Outbreaks have been declared at both schools after two cases of COVID-19 were detected at Marymount and three at Pius XII.
